Two months ago we released Argo, an open-source container-native workflow engine for Kubernetes. Each step in an Argo workflow runs as a pod on a Kubernetes cluster.
Thanks to everyone, particularly the Kubernetes and CNCF community, for their great feedback and support.
We are happy to announce that you can now install and run the new 1.1 release of Argo on existing Kubernetes clusters in AWS, GKE, and MiniKube. We have also created a light weight version that runs as a simple Docker container.
This means that in less than 1 minute you can try Argo on Minikube. If you have 10 minutes, you can run Argo on either AWS or GKE.
More details on Argo for GKE, Minikube, and Docker over on the Argo blog.
